You’ve probably seen positive Affirmations before— short statements like, “I am beautiful.” But if you’re a Christian, you might feel like something is missing. And that, of course, is the word of God.
Did you know you can incorporate scripture into your affirmations?
That’s exactly what biblical affirmations are for! They are positive affirmations specifically for christians that use ideas and language from scripture.
These biblical affirmations grow in your faith, overcome life’s challenges, or just keep a positive attitude.
In this blog post, we will discuss 35 biblical affirmations that can help you live a better life!
Biblical affirmations are statements that help you build and affirm certain beliefs rooted in scripture.
Throughout the Bible, there are constant reminders of the truth that God gives us.
the Bible tells us a few things:
These truths, and many more, are sprinkled throughout scripture.
If you’re a Christian, you likely believe these things. But biblical affirmations can help you internalize and live by these truths.
Essentially, they are short, powerful statements from scripture that can serve as reminders of God’s truth.
Some Biblical affirmations are taken directly from scripture, while others take just an idea from scripture.
Christians can use biblical affirmations to reaffirm their faith and make themselves feel empowered by God.
There are several ways to use these biblical affirmations.
Positive affirmations help you believe in your own beauty, abilities, personality, and more.
Christian affirmations go above and this, helping you believe in God’s love for you, plans for you, and how you were made.
Regular positive affirmations can still be helpful in developing a positive attitude and overcoming life’s challenges, but for Christians, scripture can make affirmations so much more meaningful.
For example, a regular positive affirmation might say:
“I am wise”
This helps you believe in your own decision making skills. But a christian affirmation might say:
“God gives me the wisdom to make difficult decisions”
I, for one, would rather trust in the wisdom of God than merely my own wisdom. That’s why biblical affirmations can be so powerful.
Now that we know a little bit about biblical affirmations, it’s time to discuss some of the 35 biblical affirmations for Christian women!
